DCE Meets Leadership of Ghana Muslim Mission in Offinso North

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Offinso North, Hon. Ceasar Ofosu Acheampong, this morning received the leadership of the Ghana Muslim Mission at his office. The meeting formed part of efforts to strengthen collaboration between the Assembly and faith-based organizations in the municipality.

In a cordial discussion, the leadership of the Mission raised key issues concerning the growth of Islamic education in the district and highlighted the need for continuous support to enhance teaching and learning in Islamic schools. Matters relating to security within the municipality were also discussed, with both sides agreeing on the importance of maintaining peace and stability as a foundation for development.

Hon. Acheampong commended the Mission for its contribution to education, moral upbringing, and community development. He assured them of the Assembly’s commitment to working closely with all stakeholders, including religious bodies, to achieve common goals that benefit the people of Offinso North.

“I want to give you my firm assurance of full cooperation. Together, we can build a stronger partnership that promotes quality education, peace, and progress in the municipality,” the DCE stated.

The leadership of the Ghana Muslim Mission expressed appreciation for the warm reception and pledged their readiness to collaborate with the Assembly in areas of education, youth development, and community sensitization.

The meeting ended on a positive note, with both parties reaffirming their commitment to fostering unity and development across the municipality.
