DCE Joins Pupils for “My First Day at School”

The District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Albert Sefa Boampong, on [insert date] joined pupils in the district to mark the nationwide “My First Day at School” initiative. The event, which took place in selected basic schools across the district, was aimed at welcoming new entrants into the formal education system.

Hon. Boampong, together with officials from the District Education Directorate and other Heads of Department, interacted with the pupils and encouraged them to take their studies seriously. He emphasized that education remains a key priority for government and assured teachers and parents of the Assembly’s continuous support in improving teaching and learning conditions.

The DCE also distributed educational materials to the new pupils as part of efforts to motivate them and ease the challenges of starting school. He commended teachers for their dedication and urged parents to provide the needed guidance and support for their children’s academic growth.

Heads of Department present at the exercise included the District Coordinating Director, District Budget Analyst, District Internal Auditor, and the District Planning Officer.

The pupils and parents expressed their appreciation to the DCE and his team for the visit, describing it as a great motivation for the children on their first day at school.
