The District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Albert Sefa Boampong, has held a community engagement meeting with residents of Nkenkaasu at the Pentecost Church auditorium.

The meeting formed part of the Assembly’s strategy to deepen citizen participation in local governance, improve transparency, and strengthen collaboration between the Assembly and community members.

In his address, Hon. Boampong assured residents of the government’s commitment to expanding infrastructure, improving social services, and enhancing revenue mobilization for accelerated development. He called on community members to play their part by supporting Assembly initiatives and honoring their civic responsibilities, particularly the payment of local levies.

Heads of Department present at the event included the District Coordinating Director, District Budget Analyst, District Internal Auditor, and the District Planning Officer. Each of them shared insights on their roles in promoting accountability, prudent resource management, and effective planning for community development.

The engagement also provided an open forum for residents to raise concerns, ask questions, and offer suggestions on key issues affecting the community. The interactive discussions ended with a renewed commitment by both the Assembly and the people of Nkenkaasu to work together for sustainable growth and development.
