Distribution of items to newly trained artisans
In a bid to empower local artisans and boost economic growth, the Department of Trade and Industry recently organized a distribution event for newly trained artisans in the community. The event, held at the Community Center, saw a significant turnout of enthusiastic participants eager to receive the tools and resources necessary to kickstart their businesses.

Late Offinso North DCE laid to rest (Photos)
The body of the late District Chief Executive (DCE) for Offinso North in the Ashanti Region, David Kwasi Asare Boakye, has been laid to rest.
He died on November 7, 2022, at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital after a short illness.
The late DCE died at age 70. He left behind a wife and six children.
The burial service of the late DCE was held at the Methodist School Park in Afrancho.
Dignitaries who were at the funeral included the Vice President, Dr Mahamud Bawumia, Local Government Minister, Dan Botwe, the Member of Parliament for the area, who doubled as the deputy local government minister, Agustine Collins Ntim, and some members of the NPP.
